ZIONCLAD CONTACTS

Contacts Use Notice

This notice explains what to keep in mind when you use ZionClad Contacts. It applies together with the ZionClad Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What Contacts is

ZionClad Contacts is a tool for keeping a record of the people you meet: their details, how you met, your notes and your follow-ups. You decide what goes into it and what you do with it.

Scanned and imported details can be wrong

Business cards are read automatically on your own device. Printed text is sometimes misread, and a name, number or email may be missing or incorrect. Imported files are taken as they are.

Check every contact before you save it, and before you rely on it to call, write to or send anything to someone.

You are responsible for the people you add

Only add people whose details you have a proper reason to hold, for example because they gave you their card or agreed to stay in touch.

Laws on privacy and on marketing by email, text and phone apply to how you store and use other people's details. Which laws apply depends on where you and they are. It is your responsibility to know and follow them, including getting permission where it is required and stopping when someone asks you to.

The marketing permission boxes in Contacts are your own record of what a person agreed to. ZionClad does not check or confirm them.

Messages are sent by you

Contacts prepares thank-you messages and opens your own email, text or sharing app. ZionClad does not send messages for you and is not the sender. You are responsible for what you send and who you send it to.

Your card and QR code

Anyone who scans your code receives the details you put on My card, so only include details you are happy to give out. When connections are turned on, the code opens a page on ZionClad that shows those details to anyone who has the code or its link.

People who scan your code can choose to share their details with you. By sharing, they agree that you may contact them using the details they gave, and that agreement is saved on their contact. Contact them only on those details, and remove them if they ask.

You can replace your code at any time in My card. Codes you printed before then stop working. Your code also stops working if your subscription ends, and works again when it is renewed.

Your records

You can export your contacts at any time as a spreadsheet or a contacts file. Deleted contacts stay in Trash for 30 days and are then removed. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Contacts needs an active subscription. If your subscription ends you will not be able to open Contacts until it is renewed.

Not advice

Nothing in Contacts is legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Reminders, suggestions and message wording are aids only. If you need advice, speak to a qualified professional.
